Part of our ongoing work with Taru Naturals - a grassroots movement of 10,000 tribal & small-scale farmers across India. The new packaging identity reflects the ethos of the brand and the impact that it has had in the farming communities.
We wanted to create a visual language and treatment that is strongly rooted in our rich visual language. We worked closely through the lockdown with the founder @ruchijain coordinating with artisans across multiple locations.
The packaging credits the artists clearly and also becomes a channel for information & support for these talented artisans. Our rich visual tradition, comprising of innumerable and unique visual styles are in a danger of getting lost.
At the studio one of our ongoing effort is to re-contextualise how design & craft can come together and we hope to continue this across severals areas of design programs.
